Tits, beer and maybe even some cars and bikes. The world of Peter Pan Speedrock sure isn't a broad-minded one, but boy is it most men's dream to live like that. Enter some cheesy bridge, something like:

And now it's possible! Well, not really. But with the first official PPS DVD you do get an insight in their touring life. Not too many tits, but there's enough beer and motoring going on to satisfy a PPS fan. What will satisfy even more is the tons of live material. Of course Peter Pan is a live band, and therefore the numerous live registrations are the part of the dvd that really count. They come in many flavours, from the huge festival gigs (Lowlands 2002, Pinkpop 2003, With Full Force) to the smaller clubs including the Effenaar (of course), parts of an American tour, and their most suprising performance: at a Dutch award ceremony alongside a fullscale orchestra.

The disc is presented in a documentary style, which doesn't work out that well. In the end it is just a string of tour footage combined with live material. This shouldn't be a reason to leave the dvd lying in the store racks. Speedfreak Manifesto still sports loads of cool material. Chances are you'll be hitting the menu button a lot though.
