Dutch metallers
Chiraw have inked a deal with
Rusty Cage Records. The group's new album,
"Dark Frequencies", will be released on October 15. The Cd was recorded by
Gerwin Bruins and mixed by
Jochem Jacobs (
Textures).
According to a press release, "the band shows a combination of heavy, energized, brutal riffs, industrial atmospheric samples, crystal clean melodies, killer shouts and ground pounding beats to energize the scene."
Chiraw is a fusion of the words "chi" and "raw". Chi or Qi in Chinese stands for vital energy, and raw refers to the pure nature of Chiraw's live performances.
