After 10 years, Amsterdam rock band
The Covenant is back with a new album:
Welcome To The Real World. To celebrate this release, the band launched a unique concept.
YourSpace is an innovative concept to get more shows for the band and to promote the new album. How does it work then?
A bar, venue or a group of fans will hang a subscribers list onto the wall. On this list, people can subscribe for the new album of
The Covenant. This Cd costs 10 Euros. If 40 people have subscribed themselves, the band will come and play for free, complete with audio installation, backline and lights.
This way, the bar or venue can host a free show of
The Covenant, the band sells at least 40 CDs and the visitors get a free show. Besides this, everyone who initiated a YourSpace show, will earn 25% of every Cd that is sold on top of the first 40 CDs.
The first YourSpace shows have already been booked by now. The album,
Welcome To The Real World, was released on November 14th 2008.
