Imagine, you are a German, you are a musician and a metalhead and you want to start a band. But not in the traditional metal way, of which the Germans are still big fans. Germany’s metal export product numero uno is definitely Rammstein, these guys have surpassed even one of their main influences Oomph! So practically every band in this direction will indirect sound like Rammstein. WHY? Why are there still people that think they can reach the same level with the exact same sound and  formula? The only thing good about it is that it saves me from writing a paragraph describing what they sound like.

 

The review I referred to in the intro is from the band Megaherz, reviewed by my dear colleague Napalm Lex. And how great is it that the vocalist and a guitarist from Eisbrecher have also been active in Megaherz! Amazing! So they didn’t want to play in one Rammstein clone, but two!! They joy!

 

If I have to be positive in any way, I would have to say it is performed well, produced very smooth and German, and if there are people (likely Germans) that are fans of this kind of music they have another nice addition to their ever growing collection of the same albums. I believe someone in our crew mentioned something about originality being not that important. Just wait until you get the guts to review something like this then! ;)
