In the year 2003 the first cd of Rag Men appeared. Rag Men is a band witch is formed by current and former members from a few bands, Madball, Hatebreed, Earth Crisis, Merauder and Freya.
I might say that this cd is oldschool as hell, and I like it!!
You can hear that there are more musical influences but it's mainly hardcore, and they are good at making that music.
The cd contains 8 tracks and 1 cover.
Overall it's a great album, brute and mostly oldschool, it doesn't sound like any other band what is quite difficult to do these days, they have managed to give their music a great own sound and I'll hope this will stay in the future.
Vision of you, is an example of the oldschool songs on this album it's not really fast but it will blast your eardrums for sure, the guitar parts are quite fast and sometimes I think even really melodic.
The cover song, witch is originally preformed by Sepultura, is called “TERRITORY” and even this song now has the Rag Men influence and if you know the original everybody will say it sounds great.
My own opinion of this album is extremely good; these Men know what their doing and they do it better than I have ever hoped for.
