But the two tracks I got were more than enough to convince me that I should definitely check out more of their material. It displays that indie hasn’t been bled dry by dozens of bands lately, but that the creativity has reached a higher level. I really can get into these songs, and I hear some very original touches to the genre. Humour is also a key issue with these guys, by just reading what’s on the sleeve you get a good indication of that. But by listening to the lyrics and experimental guitar and bass parts you can tell that these guys probably mean a lot of fun.

The production helps a lot too, it’s very clear while the rock element has been maintained at just the right level. The bass sounds just perfect, and being a bassist myself this I very much appreciated.

 

So to conclude this, these two tracks are a very nice sample of what is (hopefully) yet to come. At least this metalhead is planning on checking it out!
